THE REBIRTH: VCN & THE FUTURE OF OUR DEAR PROFESSION

I have just been thinking..
Millions of years ago, we evolved from being a single celled specie to a uniquely designed multi-cellular species charged with the responsibility to reproduce, recreate and replenish.
Million of years forward, we can boldly say that our world is now the exact reflections of whatever it is we are and have become.

Who are we?
What have we become?

If our current reality doesn't reflect our boldest thoughts, then there's just one way out...

The Rebirth

I hold a bold belief that whatever a man decides, with faith in his heart and God on his side, there's no telling to what he can achieve.
Unfortunately, we haven't progressed that much as a profession because we have allowed tradition to cage the very essence of our freedom..
The freedom to dream, to dare, to decide and ultimately get things done.

Few weeks ago we voted in a new leadership of the veterinary council of which I am privilege to also partake but of course position isn't power.

Position gives us a chance but can't guarantee that things will be done.

What guarantees result is power

Newton second law of motion states that a body continues in a state of rest or uniform motion until an external force (power) acts on it..

It behooves on us then to grow in our ability to reward our friends and punish our enemies.

To act decisively and pursue only the interests of the veterinary body.

Veterinarians first

To plan, to act, to execute.

To enshrine, to institutionalize, to culturize an ideal that will transcend our present state of rest

We now have a brilliant set of leaders in the council... but we would need..

Leaders who will sacrifice and sacrifice until the fame of the profession is heard abroad.

Leaders who will stretch  and stretch until the impossible becomes possible

Leaders who wouldn't sleep until every last drop of our collective aspirations receives her due attention.

It's an exciting time folks and I believe we are just beginning.

Fast forward 5 years, we'd be proud.

I am committed and excited to be leading part of this change process.

Until success becomes all we want, we will always receive less than what we want.

Success is all there is.

I therefore welcome all Vets to The Rebirth of the veterinary profession

A new precedence that will beat our imagination.

No one will be unemployed
No one will be left alone
No one will be stranded

We will rise like a star
We will perform more than a horse
We will win like never before.

This precedence we will create together
